A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SMART WORK ZONE TECHNICIAN

You will assess, implement, and maintain temporary Smart Work Zone systems and their technology application (ITS) on road and highways projects. You accomplish this by effectively communicating and problem solving with Mega Rentals' Project Managers, Smart Work Zone vendors, DOT staff and customers. This position helps ensure the safety of contractors and motorists navigating work zones throughout Wisconsin.

As a Smart Work Zone Technician, you will regularly travel around the state of Wisconsin as well as the occasional out-of-state travel. This position will work in both office and field environments.
