We are seeking a skilled and motivated Process/Controls Technician to join our team in TN. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes through effective troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial automation equipment. If you have a passion for continuous improvement and possess a strong technical background, we would love to hear from you

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot HMI and PLC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform mechanical assembly and troubleshooting on various equipment.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct wiring and electrical troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics accurately.
  • Utilize basic computer skills and Microsoft Excel for documentation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide excellent communication and support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with PLC programming, wiring, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot industrial automation equipment effectively.
  • Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting and shop math skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.
