Job Summary: Living Mulch, a certified minority-owned business based in Syracuse, NY, is preparing a proposal for a significant contract involving the relocation of two New York municipal departments. We are seeking a Project Manager who is highly organized, detail oriented, and a great communicator who can help with overseeing the entire project of relocating the local Municipal buildings. This includes project planning, project execution, communication, managing tight timelines and budgets, and ensuring the successful execution of the move. The contract is initially for a guaranteed 12 month period with a strong likelihood for extension.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the overall project plan for moving a Municipal building to a new location.
  • Coordinate with all departments and stakeholders.
  • Ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
  • Supervise the Logistics Coordinator and other team members.
  • Address any issues that arise and develop contingency plans.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in large-scale moves or relocations.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
