Educational Aide KPrep-Grade 3

Reports To: Lower Elementary School Principal

Status: Part-Time, Non-exempt, Hourly

Start Date: August 2024, Following the school calendar

Schedule:

#1- M 7:30 a.m.-1:05 p.m., TH 10:10 a.m.-3:45 p.m., F 7:30 a.m.-1:05 p.m.

#2- M 7:30 a.m.-1:05 p.m., TU 10:10 a.m.-3:45 p.m., F 7:30 a.m. -1:05 p.m.


Job Summary:

  • Monitor recess, carpool, lunch, hallways, and other needs as presented
  • Support the needs of classroom teachers with such activities as copying, collating, and preparing material

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Experience working with elementary age children, preferred
  • Must be a professing Christian and comfortable working in a multi-denominational Christian community

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

MENTAL FUNCTIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to compare, analyze, communicate, copy, coordinate, instruct, compute, synthesize, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, compile and negotiate.
