Clendenin Lumber Co. in Donalds, SC is hiring for an Administrative Assistant. This is a full time, permanent opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients, visitors, employees, and truckers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Variety of administrative tasks including opening mail, creating/maintaining spreadsheets, order supplies
  • Accounts payable and invoicing
  • Scheduling shipping trucks
  • Maintaining logistics information by entering data into SAP
  • Data entry and tracking of processes performed - receiving/shipping
  • Answer phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned by sales leader(s)

Administrative Assistant Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Office experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
