Job DescriptionJob DescriptionClendenin Lumber Co. in Donalds, SC is hiring for an Administrative Assistant. This is a full time, permanent opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients, visitors, employees, and truckers in a professional and courteous manner
- Variety of administrative tasks including opening mail, creating/maintaining spreadsheets, order supplies
- Accounts payable and invoicing
- Scheduling shipping trucks
- Maintaining logistics information by entering data into SAP
- Data entry and tracking of processes performed - receiving/shipping
- Answer phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary
- Other duties as assigned by sales leader(s)
Administrative Assistant Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Office experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
- SAP experience a plus
- Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
