Duration: / Term: 6+ months Contract

Job Description:

Focus on the overall end-to-end technical assurance of network design for Client's internal/external LAN/WAN/WIFI services. Provide engineering and technical support for service requests/projects, technical consulting and implementation aspects related to the network infrastructure. Work with Supplier Chief Architect, Service Delivery/Project Managers and Change Managers to ensure the successful design, development and implementation of activities in the network infrastructure. Facilitate changes, circuit installation/Test and turnup, onboarding/offboarding equipment, etc. Work with Supplier managed support teams to deliver technical components of projects following agreed upon Change Control processes. Assist with operational issues with Supplier Service Delivery Manager(s) if required.

Required Skills:

  • 8-10 Years of Experience in implementation and troubleshooting for a global or Enterprise network, self-monitored performer
  • Strong technical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer relationship skills and interpersonal skills in working with cross-functional teams
  • Degree in Network Engineering desired
  • Updates and maintains site network diagrams
  • Experience working in a regulated, IT infrastructure environment supporting networking technologies such as routers, switches; understanding DNS services
  • Experience with WAN/LAN/WIFI technologies
  • Understanding of facilities network cable plant processes.

Knowledge of:

  • BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, QOS and COS
  • Layers 1 thru Layers 3 of the OSI model
  • Wireless installation and troubleshooting
  • Able to write varying types of change-related configuration scripts with validation steps to ensure network functionality
  • Able to design and implement end to end solutions
  • Experience in supporting global Projects

Additional Prferences:

  • Degree and/or certification in Network Engineering desired.
  • Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP)
