Your day as a Child Care Assistant Group Supervisor

As a Child Care Assistant Group Supervisor at the YMCA of Reading & Berks County, you will be responsible for the dynamic and engaging operations of the classroom. Requirements for this Child Care Assistant Group Supervisor job

To excel in the role of Child Care Assistant Group Supervisor, several key skills and qualifications are necessary. A high school diploma or general educational development certificate is required. Depending on the position, applicants must have one of the following: 30 credit hours in early childhood education, 600 or more hours of secondary training, 15 credit hours in relevant fields and at least 1 year of experience working with children, completion of a post-secondary training curriculum, or 2 years of experience with children. Additionally, the ability to obtain criminal, child abuse, FBI, and National Sex Offender Registry clearances is vital to ensure the safety and well-being of the children in our care.
