What You'll Do:


As the Production Manager, you will coordinate and schedule our manufacturing activities. You will provide direction and supervision for our purchasing and production staff.

  • Implement and maintain safety programs for the production facility.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive production schedule to support ship date requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and adequate inventory levels to support manufacturing activities.
  • Oversee quality control activities to ensure high quality standards are maintained.
  • Develop and train new staff to promote consistency throughout our manufacturing activities.
  • Oversee purchasing and logistics staff/activities to optimize inventory levels and associated cash flow impact.
  • Oversee production staff/activities to ensure effective communication and efficiency in manufacturing.
  • Interface with Engineering to ensure customer requirements are understood and met.
Requirements:

Education: A High School diploma or equivalent is required.


Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing management and leadership.


Certification(s): Forklift certification preferred.


Technology Aptitude/Skills: Advanced ERP system, processes, and validation skills required; experience with Microsoft Business Central would be a plus; Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office products. Will learn and utilize other software systems in the role.
