What would you do as a Childcare Specialist PT

As a new Part-Time Childcare Specialist at Wasatch Behavioral Health, you can expect a dynamic and rewarding role working with children in our Promise Program. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include creating engaging activities, supporting children with their daily routines, and ensuring a safe environment at all times. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team to provide high-quality care and enriching experiences for the children onsite.

Your schedule will typically be Monday through Thursday, with some variation to accommodate program needs. Embrace this opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families while growing your skills in childcare and early childhood development.

What you need to be successful

To excel as a Part-Time Childcare Specialist at Wasatch Behavioral Health, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. For this role you will also be helping to provide daily transportation for the adult women (and their children) by driving a 15 passenger van. For this reason, you must be 21 years of age to qualify for this position

Prior experience in childcare or early childhood education is beneficial but not required, as we provide training and support to help you succeed in your position.

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
