Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPro-Pipe East has an opportunity for a CCTV Service Repair Specialist position serving in the Richmond, VA area. The CCTV Service Repair Specialist will manage a fleet of robotic cameras and will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and procuring parts or new cameras to support the goal of assessing and maintaining the underground infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities as a CCTV Service Repair Specialist:

  • Responsible for providing exceptional internal customer service with high quality and deliverability through proper diagnosis, repair, and preventative servicing of advanced CCTV inspection, rehabilitation, and pipe profiling equipment products.
  • Diagnose and service transporters and vision inspection equipment requiring mechanical and drive diagnostic and servicing, wiring, testing and calibration.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on schedule per assigned task instructions on equipment and systems performing tasks such as replacing drive belts and change other minor maintenance components.
  • Write corrective work orders for opportunities found while performing preventative maintenance.
  • Provide positive, effective, and professional customer service and support through dialog with internal customers in person and over the telephone.
  • Responsible for safe work habits, housekeeping of assigned work areas, and quality of work
  • Ensure documentation for the job is processed accurately to include constructing and completing job orders, accounting of labor hours, managing inventory and cycle counts and coordinating the shipping of service products.
  • Travel to job sites as needed (some overnight) to perform field repairs on equipment.

What We Need From You (Our Requirements):

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering, or another related field, highly preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience of electro-mechanical product servicing highly preferred.
  • Strong soldering experience
  • Maintenance experience in manufacturing environment with skills in mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic
  • Mechanical experience on flywheel driven equipment, hydraulic press equipment and gearboxes
  • Experience with basic industrial electricity
  • Previous experience working with pipelines preferred
  • Possess a clean driving record over the last 3 years and successful completion of a pre-employment background check, including a physical and drug screen
  • Ability to work in extreme environments such as hot and cold weather.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stoop frequently.
  • Ability to have fine motor dexterity to repair the cameras.
  • Ability to work positively and effectively with team members at all levels
  • Must be able to work independently and alone much of the time
  • Must be able to work under tight deadlines and meet deadlines as required
  • Must be a team player and a self-starter to carry out tasks and goals.
  • Must have electrical schematics and electronic circuit knowledge and education
  • Must have strong problem solving and troubleshooting ability.
  • Must be proficient in reading and understanding BOM’s, assembly drawings, electrical / electronic schematics, and assembly procedures.
  • Must have strong computer skills using windows-based environment, email and the internet.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
