Summary
We are seeking a Lead Toddler Preschool 2 Teacher to join our organization This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
- Previous experience in childcare/teaching of toddlers ages 18-36 months required
- Experience working in a Licensed by State of NJ Child Care Center preferred
- Experience with Creative Curriculum and knowledge of NJ Grows for Kids preferred
- CDA or Higher Education preferred
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Duties
Submit Lesson Plans weekly following the Theme and the creative curriculum
Plan activities that are age appropriate for the children in the classroom
complete daily reports for the parents
Requirements
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working in a licensed child care center
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working with children ages 18 months to 36 months
CDA or Associates degree in early childhood education would be a PLUS
