The Role

Diagnose and repair sewer drain issues and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Be on time and available according to schedule. Calling off requires 24 hour notice.
  • Uitlize all company devices and software resources fully and as installed.
  • Complete all sewer drain cleaning, jetting and cable work related to in-home service calls.
  • Coordinate camera service for every mainline stoppage within 24 hours of the report.
  • Know how to establish customer rapport to provide the right product and service..
  • Educate and assist customers on the importance of sewer repair and replacement.
  • Inform customer of financing options
  • Explain reasons for blockage and illustrate how you will resolve the issue. 
  • Understand your service key performance indicators* and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
  • Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
  • Make sure that your uniform is clean and is worn every day. 
  • Communicate regulaurly and effectively with customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business. .
  • Develop working knowledge of all drain equipment uses and maintenance.
  • Protect drain and maintain cleaning and camera equipment and keep a well inventoried truck.
    • Notify Management of down equimpent immediately.
    • Submit equipment repair tickets completely and in a timely manner
    • Request restock of appropriate materials and note any newer materials which might need to be added to the restock master list.
  • Respect and protect homeowner’s property from drain and camera equipment.
  • Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats.
  • Maintain accountability with regular one-to-ones and performance reviews with your manager..
  • Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs.
  • Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback and option sheets.
