SMLP is a value-driven limited partnership focused on developing, owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets that are strategically located in the core producing areas of unconventional resource basins, primarily shale formations, in the continental United States. SMLP provides natural gas, crude oil and produced water gathering, processing and transportation services pursuant to primarily long-term, fee-based agreements with customers and counterparties in five unconventional resource basins: (i) the Appalachian Basin, which includes the Utica and Marcellus shale formations in Ohio and West Virginia; (ii) the Williston Basin, which includes the Bakken and Three Forks shale formations in North Dakota; (iii) the Denver-Julesburg Basin, which includes the Niobrara and Codell shale formations in Colorado and Wyoming; (iv) the Fort Worth Basin, which includes the Barnett Shale formation in Texas; and (v) the Piceance Basin, which includes the Mesaverde formation as well as the Mancos and Niobrara shale formations in Colorado. SMLP has an equity method investment in Double E Pipeline, LLC, which provides interstate natural gas transportation service from multiple receipt points in the Delaware Basin to various delivery points in and around the Waha Hub in Texas. SMLP also has an equity method investment in Ohio Gathering, which operates extensive natural gas gathering and condensate stabilization infrastructure in the Utica Shale in Ohio. Work schedule: Monday - Friday (Office)

Summary:

Provide high-level administrative support to Operations director and staff. Duties to be performed include, but not limited to, preparing materials for meetings, presentations, and business communications, compiling special reports, and correspondence as required. Arrange meetings, travels, and company events and department heads.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain assigned directors’ schedule.
  • Responsible for front office operations; includes answering incoming calls and handling or redirecting as appropriate; meeting and greeting guests.
  • Act as liaison with all departments.
  • Prepare monthly expense reports for supported staff.
  • Prepare reports, memos, letters, and event budgets.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence and mail; manage other special mailings.
  • File and retrieve field documents, records, reports, and all project files.
  • Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries.
  • Coordinate onsite and offsite conferences and meetings, as directed.
  • Maintain inventory and manage the purchase of office supplies, field supplies, and help manage field inventory.
  • Work with necessary parties to coordinate new equipment purchase and set up, including new hire IT equipment, phone lines, wireless connection, and supplies.
  • Responsible for keeping office and field offices fully stocked.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for assigned local staff to include, air, hotel, and ground transportation.
  • Classify, maintain, and protect files, and sensitive information consistent with record handling.
  • Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
  • Become a Maximo super user to assist with preventative maintenance.
  • Work with procurement to create and receive purchase orders.
  • Work with regulatory and compliance to help track asset veriforce compliance.

Education & Experience:

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred with 5+ years of experience in administrative or executive assistant capacity.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as strong internet skills.
  • Possess excellent planning and organization skills; must be able to handle multiple projects and changing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and courteously.
  • Attention to detail, high level of accuracy and excellent follow-through skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent and sound judgment.
  • Be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision; ability to handle duties which are diverse in scope and complexity.
  • Actively promote and personally observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly.

  • Manual dexterity for operating computer and office equipment
