Job Description:

NDi is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing, engineering, and evaluating enterprise environments for commercial and government customers. This role requires someone comfortable with continuous communication with technical officials and business officials. The position is local to Northern Virginia and the greater Washington D.C. metropolitan area, with the potential to travel out of state to remote sites. Military Veterans Encouraged to Apply.

Requirements:

  • U.S Citizenship is required
  • Must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • The position is onsite and requires presence at a designated work location.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 15%
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar technical discipline
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a network engineer charged with the oversight or administration of an enterprise environment.
  • Must be familiar with general DoD organizational structure as it relates to Network Enterprise Operations, navigating firewalls, and DoD services integration.
  • Must possess one of the following certifications:
  • CCNA (with a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a DoD enterprise network environment)
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certificate
  • Juniper Network Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS) certification(s)
  • Intermediate to expert-level knowledge of VMware Or Microsoft Hyper-V

Familiarity with:

  • Cisco ISE, VPNs, and Next Generation Firewalls.
  • Must have experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) on classified enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of networking technologies & enclaves, including but not limited to SIPRNet, NIPRNet, Vlans, ACLs, SIEM, VPN.
Responsibilities:
  • esponsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and
    provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through
    final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer
    services, and client services. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans,
    schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is
    responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews
    project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor
    deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes
    action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
    The Program Manager is the liaison between the government project manager, the COR/CO, and
    the contractor's personnel. The Project Manager shall:
    Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions. Plan, manage, execute, and
    finalize projects according to outlined process to include acquiring resources and coordinating
    the effort of contractor's personnel in order to deliver tasks according to this contract.
