BOM Materials Coordinator
Position Summary:We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized BOM Materials Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in the effective management of the Bill of Materials, ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Shift times for this position: 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday Position Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) for our manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to ensure BOM accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure the timely availability of materials, components, and parts as per BOM requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities to meet production demands.
  • Conduct regular audits of BOMs to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues.
  • Provide support in the implementation of cost-effective materials management strategies.
  • Assist in the resolution of any materials-related issues that may arise during production.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to materials and BOMs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the materials coordination process.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in materials coordination or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using materials management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and manufacturing processes.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Problem-solving ability to address materials-related issues.
  • A proactive and results-driven attitude.
