ABOUT THE JOB

The warehouse and distribution associate is responsible for managing the flow of parts and materials inventory.

Responsibilities include:

  • Transport company property. (company vehicles to the DMV for title and registration inspections)
  • Receive parts into the ERP system.
  • Stock parts in the warehouse and assembly floor.
  • Pick parts for production.
  • Deliver parts to the production line.
  • Restock small parts stored lineside.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts.
  • Local pick up and drop off parts, tools, supplies, and/or materials.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • A CDL License.
  • Excellent driving skills.
  • A clean driving record.
  • Prior experience operating a vehicle with a 24' trailer.
  • Willingness and ability to work on any assigned schedule, change shifts periodically, work more than 8 hours per day and/or work overtime, while maintaining good attendance.
  • Ability and willingness to learn and follow safety rules and procedures.
  • Ability and willingness to understand and follow instructions, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat most of the day.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Ability to perceive differences in very specific details when inspecting parts or work performed, checking for defects or quality issues, or when distinguishing various parts/components by identification number or code.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a team environment, including helping co-workers, maintaining and promoting a safe work environment, treating co-workers with dignity and respect regardless of personal differences, and accepting and following instructions and requests from leadership.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic understanding of the parts of an automobile helpful but not required.

PAY AND BENEFITS

  • A warehouse and distribution associate in our company will make between $22-25/hour, depending on his or her skills and experience and willingness to work overtime.
  • We offer company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision coverage, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • 80.0 hours paid time off (PTO) starts accruing immediately after hire, and new hires are eligible for holiday pay (72.0 hours per year) after only 90 days.
  • All full-time employees are eligible for our 401(k) with up to 4% company match after only 180 days.
  • We work in a modern, 65,474 sq. ft. air-conditioned facility with dust and weld fume extraction systems, first-class amenities, and convenient parking.
