Solar - Battery Energy Storage System Technician
Looking for individuals willing to travel to remote power generation facilities (Solar/Wind) where battery storage systems are being installed. Job involves troubleshooting, remediation, testing and commissioning of grid scale battery storage systems. Training is provided. Work is typically related to low voltage connections and/or computer interface and control.
Base Salary for Battery Energy Storage Technician:
Salary: $26.00 - $35.00 Depending on experience
Required experience for Battery Energy Storage Technician:
- OSHA - 10 certification is a plus
- Experience with electrical systems, and controls is a plus
- Familiarity with the use of different model multimeters is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for extended periods to work outside in the elements (summer heat).
- Ability to follow direction, learn and grown into role.
- Adherence to all safety rules and provisions including periodic donning of 40 cal arc flash suit.
- Effective written and oral communication abilities.
- Effective time management – tardiness and no shows will not be tolerated.
- Clean background with no outstanding/pending charges.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test at time of hire and random.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Non-US Citizen must hold current work visa or green card.

- Remote work in the field
Work environment for Battery Energy Storage Technician:
We are a maintenance and repair service provider for the power generation industry. We specialize in providing service and repair primarily in the field at customer locations (Wind and Solar farms). Our field workers are trained and are required to maintain certification for working safely with stored energy (large grid-scale batteries).
Due to exceptional growth and future opportunity, we are seeking detail oriented, well organized, and highly motivated individuals to assist. This person will be hired to support individual customer contracts – all of which are in the field and the durations vary.
