Cascadia Apparel is a dynamic and rapidly growing division of Velociterra dedicated to excellence in custom apparel and souvenirs. To support this ambitious goal, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Division Manager to lead our team to success.


Position Overview

This role plays a pivotal role in the growth and development of our division. You will be responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, training, budgeting, and managing the daily operations to foster a culture of innovation, customer obsession, and accountability. Your primary focus will be on driving sales growth, optimizing production processes to eliminate inefficiencies, and ensuring seamless execution of our expansion plans.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve divisional sales targets and overall growth objectives.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for expansion.
    • Work with Finance to develop and monitor a monthly budget.
  • Sales Growth:
    • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Accountability:
    • Establish clear performance metrics and goals for team members.
    • Hold individuals accountable for their responsibilities and ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
    • Ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives and operational plans.
    • Monitor progress towards goals and take corrective action as needed to stay on track.
  • Innovation in Production:
    • Develop and lead initiatives to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging team members to propose and implement new ideas and solutions.
  • Training and Development:
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
    • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational efficiency.
    • Assist with recruitment efforts and onboarding of new employees.
  • Inspiring Team:
    • Motivate and inspire team members to perform at their best and achieve their full potential.
    • Lead by example, demonstrating passion, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Collaboration and Issue Resolution:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and solve complex issues.
    • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment where teamwork and communication are prioritized.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong strategic planning, project management, and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective growth strategies.
  • Proven track record of success in sales management and business development, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team, with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Experience in promotional products, custom apparel or manufacturing is preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Asana, and CRM software.
