Insurance Customer Service Representative

RME Insurance in Lafayette, Indiana, is looking for a motivated and dynamic individual interested in joining our team as a full-time Insurance Agent . In this position you will be responsible for providing customer service and support with both our existing and new customers looking for insurance solutions in our Personal Auto and Homeowners insurance area. This position requires a Property & Casualty insurance agent license and we will assist the right candidate in obtaining their license. So, if you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and enjoy working in an office environment, this is the role for you You will benefit from continued training and education as well with our mentorship and training program.

Responsibilities
Process customer policy change requests.
Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
Return all phone messages promptly.
Generating insurance quotes.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Claims follow up calls.
Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
Provides on-going support to insurance clients as needed.
Provide customers with additional information about new products and services.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Stay up-to-date on industry market trends and best practices.
Assess and identify the wants and needs of your customer(s) over the phone.
Attend training and continuing education courses.
Manage customer renewals.
Requirements
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
- Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
- Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
- A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train good individual.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Career minded vision.
- Problem-Solving Capabilities.
- Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Be equipped with great listening skills.
