Forklift Operator/Loader Responsibilities:
  • Forklift Operator/Loader is responsible for unloading and loading trucks and rail carts.
  • Forklift Operator/Loader will operate a forklift, clamp truck and pallet jack once trained and certified.
  • Forklift Operator/Loader manually restacks pallets of finished goods and WIP as needed.
  • Forklift Operator/Loader will accurately count finished goods and use scanners when needed.
  • Forklift Operator/Loader will safely and efficiently move pallets, WIP, finished goods, roll stock and corrugate throughout the plant and warehouse.
  • Forklift Operator/Loader will follow all health and safety protocols and procedures in the workplace warehouse environment.
  • Forklift Operator/Loader will empty scrap containers and trash cans when necessary and make sure the trailers are swept and clean.
  • Forklift Operator/Loader work alongside associates regarding quality control concerns.
Forklift Operator/Loader Requirements:
  • Must have prior forklift experience or be open to be trained.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, twist, lift, walk, stand, squat for a majority of shift.
  • Must be able to bend and stack cases as well as operate equipment for 8-12 hours a day.
  • Must have good math skills and good communication skills written and verbal.
