Job DescriptionJob Description

Overall Scope and Responsibility:

Responsible for overseeing Food and Beverage operations of the hotel restaurants and spaces.

Meet targets and always enforce policies to maximize profit and minimize costs. Ensures staff is fully versed on the target for the day and excellent customer care standards are met.


Essential Duties:

  • Manages and motivates the Food & Beverage team, including performance management and recognition duties.
  • Trains new employees and provides ongoing training for all Food & Beverage staff.
  • Coordinates the schedule, covering different shifts if necessary.
  • Acts as a liaison between the Food & Beverage Department and all other departments within the hotel, communicating relevant information to their team as needed.
  • Establishes, monitors, and analyzes the budget.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures as needed.
  • Manages vendors and maintains inventory.
  • Orders supplies needed for the Food & Beverage Department.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
  • Walking and standing for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to carry 50 lbs.
  • Commitment to superior customer service and excellent customer service skills.
  • Consistent record of meeting sales, customer service and operations objectives.
  • Proven ability to influence a team and achieve results.
  • Flexibility and creative problem-solving ability.
  • Strong initiative and self-motivation.
  • Fluency in job related English both verbal and non-verbal.
    • An appreciation and respect for the diversity of all individuals in the workplace.
    • Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent management and leadership skills.
  • An understanding of food and beverage operations.
  • Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary.
