Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the activities of our production department(s). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently, resulting in the production of high-quality products. Under the guidance of the Production Manager the Production Supervisor will be responsible for executing the daily production plan to include coordinating all manufacturing activities, and supervising subordinate technicians.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Review daily production plan, and coordinate the activities of technicians to execute plan.

- In collaboration with Production Managers, establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.

- Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications.

- Review production and operating reports to identify areas of improvement and implement changes as needed.

- Ensure that all safety and quality standards are met and that all production processes are in compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Manage and supervise subordinate technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a relevant field, coupled with a minimum of 3 years experience in a production management capacity. Alternatively, candidates may possess a High School diploma/GED with 5 years of demonstrated leadership responsibilities in a manufacturing setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to take initiative and lead projects independently.

Proven track record of making sound decisions and solving problems autonomously.

Comfortable working with minimal supervision and taking ownership of tasks.

Willingness to take calculated risks:

Ability to assess situations and make informed decisions, even in uncertain or high-pressure environments.

Willing to explore innovative solutions and think outside the box to achieve objectives.

Understanding of risk management principles and willingness to balance risks with potential rewards.

Technical skills for troubleshooting:

Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issues across various systems and platforms.

Experience with troubleshooting tools and methodologies to identify and address problems efficiently.

Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail to pinpoint root causes of issues.

Solid safety and quality drive:

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to established safety protocols.

Dedication to upholding high standards of quality in all tasks and deliverables.

Experience implementing and enforcing quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Ability to multi-task:

Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality or efficiency.

Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and allocate resources accordingly.
