About The Role:

We are currently seeking a motivated Medical Scheduler to join our corporate team in Woodland Park, NJ. As a Medical Scheduler you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations within our medical practice. The ideal candidate should have prior experience as a medical receptionist, possess knowledge of health insurance guidelines, be a team player, and be passionate about delivering top-notch service to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Responding to incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner
  • Scheduling appointments for patients and managing the appointment calendar efficiently
  • Entering and updating patient demographics accurately for both new and established patients in the system.
  • Verifying patient insurance eligibility through various insurance portals
  • Assisting patients with inquiries regarding their appointments, insurance coverage, and general queries about the medical practice
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless coordination of patient care

Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Scheduler
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient data entry and typing skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple calls and tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and health insurance guidelines
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address patient concerns and inquiries effectively
