Job Description:

This position requires a jack-of-all-trades with a strong background in general maintenance, light plumbing, electrical work, drywall repair, and construction cleanup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our existing residential and commercial properties, handling day-to-day maintenance tasks, unit turnovers, and assisting with new construction projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform light plumbing tasks such as snaking toilets, replacing faucets, sinks, and garbage disposals.
  • Handle electrical work, including replacing outlets, light switches, and light fixtures.
  • Conduct light drywall repairs and patching.
  • Carry out construction cleanup on new construction projects, including lifting and transporting materials.
  • Manage day-to-day maintenance tasks and unit turnovers for residential and commercial properties.
  • Assist in the construction of new apartments and homes for sale.
  • Work independently, take direction, and ensure high-quality output in all tasks.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks efficiently.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
  • Proficiency in light plumbing, electrical work, and drywall repair.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in property management and/or construction.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
