Ocean Export Coordinator

Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

• Ensuring the timely quotation of all client RFQs
• Validating and confirming all ocean export bookings
• Providing timely booking confirmations
• Advising clients on the most efficient/economical transport modalities
• Building customer relationships and providing exceptional customer service
• Coordination with the documentation group
• Assists the day-to-day operations of the export department to ensure that customer requirements are met and that all clients receive thorough timely communication.
• Ensure that pricing is accurately recorded to assist in the timely billing of files
• Coordinate communication between all parties to ensure customer requirements are met.

 

Requirements:

 

Has 3-5 years of experience in ocean export
Able to manage work in a cross-functional team environment
Committed to excellent customer service
Driven and able to prioritize workload
Able to build and maintain loyal and long-lasting customer relationship
