This is a Large Format Color Operator position based out of our Miami, FL location.

About Our Company: We are a privately held diversified printing services company with annual revenues of almost $65 million. We have been in business for over 60+ years, with 25 locations operating throughout Texas, Arizona, Florida and Minnesota. Thomas Printworks truly is “Everything Print” – From custom printed wallpaper, canvas art, wall graphics, sports, and stadium graphics, museum mounted prints, marketing collateral, banner graphics, vehicle graphics, direct mail, and much more.

Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for producing high-quality color print documents according to customer specifications. Please note, that this is not a graphic design position.

· Sets up electronic files for print.

· Performs design and color corrections when necessary utilizing RIP software.

· Sends finalized prints to the appropriate printer.

· Operates and maintains color imaging devices such as color printers and copiers.

· Trims and packages completed prints as necessary.

· Inspects finished prints for defects, such as dust and smudges, and removes defects. Facilitates quality control in the color digital process.

· Completes special projects as assigned.

· Gathers organizes and wraps completed work for delivery to customer or next department.

· Completes paperwork for the billing process.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

· Experience in the print industry

· Detail-oriented and multi-tasking ability

· Customer focused

· Computer proficiency

· Ability to maintain an orderly workflow and prioritize assignments
