DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Full Stack Software Developer to hire for the long-term. We develop custom software, web apps, mobile phone apps, and more. With seventeen years in business, we are looking for someone who wants to work with us as we grow and evolve. 


We are looking for mid to senior software engineer with 5+ years of professional experience, either mobile, web, or both who is familiar with one or more of the following languages or technologies: Python/Django, C#/.NET Core, Ruby/Rails, Swift, Kotlin, Java, Flutter/Dart, PHP, JavaScript, etc.


A strong competency in any one of those will work well. We look for developers who are self-motivated and self-directed and can work under a minimal amount of structure to come up with creative solutions rather than just someone who can "follow a spec".


This position will be responsible for development and deployment of various web and/or mobile applications. Should have high level of database experience.

SKILLS DESIRED

* Strong skills with one or more major software languages/platforms such as: Python/Django, C#/.NET Core, Ruby/Rails, Swift, Kotlin, Java, Flutter/Dart, Xamarin, PHP, or JavaScript.

* If your background is web development, you must understand modern browser technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, mobile responsive layouts, and have a strong competency in single page application technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue, or similar libraries.

* If your background is in mobile development, you must have a strong development competency in iOS or Android, or both, interface design understanding such as Google’s Material Design or Apple’s Design Guidelines.

* Experience with DevOps, doing large-scale deployments in the cloud with specific cloud providers, like Amazon AWS or Azure. Docker, Linux, and Serverless experience would be a bonus.

* Highly skilled with at least one relational database such as MySQL, Postgres, or SQL Server. Experience with performance tuning, and management

* Fully at ease with Git

* Able to conceptualize problem solution and understand the relationships between other components of the technology for successful implementation of that solution.

* Enjoys solving challenging problems.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science helpful, but not absolutely required with proper experience

* 5+ Years of professional experience required
