We are seeking a talented, assertive, and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As our Marketing Coordinator you will be responsible for assisting with Firm marketing and business development campaigns designed to increase the Firm’s brand and visibility of its attorneys by leveraging the Firm’s reputation, and attorney’s expertise. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating marketing materials, including existing and new attorney announcements, practice descriptions, brochures, alerts, articles, press releases, website content, photographs, videos, and other marketing related communications that enhance and maintain the Firm's brand image and ensure consistent messaging across all channels and media dissemination outlets.
  • Organizing and providing support to attorneys for seminars, conferences, and other Firm-sponsored events (including CLEs and other marketing events).
  • Working with our attorneys to develop substantive articles and client communication pieces.
  • Assisting new attorneys to ensure a timely integration into the Firm’s business development functions (including biography, press release, various practice group brochures, professional photograph, etc.).
  • Maintaining the Firm website: update Firm and practice area descriptions, attorney biographies, and post new content, as needed.
  • Maintaining the Firm’s web and social media presence.
  • Planning, participating in, and attending targeted events and networking opportunities.
  • Attendance at firm practice group meetings, marketing meetings, social media content meetings, and staff meetings, as directed.
  • Collaborating with Firm attorneys to understand legal service offerings and tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Develop digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, lead magnets, newsletters, social media, and drip campaigns.
  • Planning and coordinating Firm-sponsored social events (webinars, business mixers, etc.) to promote brand visibility and client engagement, and coordinating attendance at events that foster relationships and referral sources.
  • Any and all additional duties as directed in furtherance of the Firm’s marketing and business development goals.

Position Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, thoroughness, and organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and successfully complete numerous tasks.
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Microsoft Outlook, Constant Contact, Canva, etc.
  • Critical thinking skills and an understanding of trends and best practices in content marketing, with special emphasis on law firm marketing.
  • Strong understanding of attorney-client relationships, confidentiality, and the needs and expectations of law firm clients.
  • Positive attitude – no task is too great or too small.
  • Ability to learn and understand the legal services industry and the Firm’s practice areas.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and online content necessary to maximize visibility through search engines.
  • Responsiveness, self-starting, and proactive work ethic.
  • Composed temperament and understanding of positive strategies for interacting with social media commentators.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels both within the Firm, as well as with professionals working for other entities, in order to meet business development objectives.
  • Must be a team player, strategic thinker, and problem solver.
  • Ability to travel off-site for events, seminars, conferences, and other marketing opportunities.

Educational Requirements and Compensation:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing or related field.
  • One to three years of law firm or professional services firm experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time (in office)

Pay: $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year, depending on experience
