Job Summary    

Project Manager Positioning, Navigation And Timing Systems (PM PNT) is a U.S. Army Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors (PEO IEW&S) organization that has a mission to provide Warfighter-valued Assured PNT solutions today that enable multi-domain operations in rapidly evolving denied environments.

BMA is seeking a Engineer Logistics Level V to support PM PNT’s product support services requirement for logistics engineering support services, installation, and repair, and field support (e.g., training, new equipment fielding, and property support; and Field Service Representatives, etc.) for new or existing hardware and software products.

Duties:

  • The Engineer Logistics Level V leads design, development, and integration of complex electrical/electronic engineering projects, including, but not limited to integration and installation of systems into host platforms and clients; leads resolution of systemic issues, testing, or measurements within a DoD environment; reviews and approves engineering documentation; and serves as lead engineering representative for the ALTNAV Program Obsolescence Management Working Group and other collaborative groups.

Clearance Requirements

There is a DoD Secret Clearance requirement for this position. 

Required Skills & Certifications    

•    Master’s from an accredited academic institution in Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field.
•    15+ years’ experience designing, developing, and integrating electrical and or electronic systems.
•    10+ years’ experience as an engineer within the DoD environment.
•    Experience with integrating and installing systems into host platforms.
•    Experience with Obsolescence Management.
•    Experience communicating with senior leaders.
•    Familiarity with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).
•    Familiarity with Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) and Supply Support Activity (SSA) organizations.
 

Desired Skills & Certifications    

•    Military Educational Level (MEL) – 4, Command and General Staff College (CGSC) or Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) equivalent.
•    Current Professional Engineering (PE) certification.
