Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced maintenance technician to join the team in Kansas City, MO apartment location. As a certified technician, your responsibilities will include heating and cooling equipment servicing and repairs; painting, plumbing, carpentry, light electrical, make ready, grounds work , cleaning and other apartment repairs.

Drawing valid conclusions, defining problems, troubleshooting, reporting, and practicing preventative maintenance are required. The ability to lift 85 pounds, work in a moderate noisy environment, and maintain a professional manner is required.

Job Requirements

  • · Current HVAC Certification
  • · 2-3 years proven maintenance experience
  • · High school or equivalent
  • · Reliable transportation
  • · Ability to communicate and deal well with residents, maintain friendly and courteous & helpful demeanor with them
  • · Ability to write reports for Work Orders
  • · Concern for work safety programs
  • Trustworthy
