Oversight of WINGS Hospital Program. Manage, maintain, and grow the Hospital program.

Key Responsibilities:

· Successfully increase hospital engagement through DV taskforce meetings, training, huddles, and other activities.

· Develop, implement, and revise policies and procedures, protocols, requirements, supervision standards, and training materials on a regular basis for Hospital Program.

· Provides direct services in the form of bedsides, crisis intervention, emotional support, and conflict resolution.

· Adhere to policy and procedures related to IPV-Induced TBI assessment/best practice.

· Review and assess each patient upon entry to the pilot TBI program for needs and strengths and identify the level of need for medical/dental, social, educational needs, and support.

· Train and provide Supervision to Hospital staff and Interns.

· Provide intervention and support, which includes being on-call for critical issues.

· Coach and supervise ICDVP candidates.

· Develop, implement, and revise policies and procedures, protocols, requirements, and training materials on a regular basis for the Hospital Program.

· Manage ongoing training to hospital personnel on issues related to Intimate Partner Violence.

· Coordinate and facilitate monthly partnership meetings between WINGS and the partnering hospitals.

· Develop and implement hospital Anti-Violence Month activities (DV, Teen Dating, etc.)

· Work collaboratively with program managers when necessary to determine clinical needs of the clients we serve.

· Develop and implement periodic assessments of services to ensure quality of services and positive outcomes.

· Ensure documentation in records in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion in accordance with agency policies and funding requirements.

· Work with Development staff to establish indicators and outcomes measures, ensure accurate data collection and reporting, and ensure timely submission of all reports.

· Attend Agency and Hospital administrative meetings as required and collaborate with other staff as needed.

· Oversee integration of strengths-based perspective and life coach model into service delivery.

· Immediately report child abuse to the Department of Children and Family Services as mandated by law and in accordance with agency procedures.

· Some evening and weekend work is required.

· Other duties as assigned by the Director of Community Based Services and Suburban Safe House.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or closely related field required.

· Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience required.

· Experience working with homeless families, victims of domestic violence, and specialized strangulation/traumatic brain injury or other trauma related populations required.

· 40 hour domestic violence training and CPR & First Aid Certification preferred.

· Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professional (ICDVP) Certification preferred.

· Bilingual skills (Spanish, Polish, or Russian) preferred.

· Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

· Collaborates at all levels with diverse institutions and community leaders toward the prevention and awareness of Intimate Partner Violence.

· Must have highly developed leadership and team skills to build rapport and to work with staff, hospital personnel, and community members.

· Possess the ability to work effectively and independently and be highly organized with attention to detail along with strong project management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

· Skilled in working with sensitive issues and in maintaining professional boundaries with clients.

· Must demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, good judgment, and commitment to teamwork.

· Must have reliable transportation.

· Strong working knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office Suite along with excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
