Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and possess a patient and caring personality. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our veterinarians and technicians in various areas, including examinations, procedures, pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with examinations, procedures, and patient care
  • Prepare and maintain medical records and reports
  • Operate medical equipment, including X-ray and ultrasound machines
  • Assist with laboratory tests and procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a veterinary setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
