As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the ongoing upkeep of our properties.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and safety of our housing facilities. You will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained, safe, and comfortable for our residents. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is dedicated to supporting our mission of providing quality housing for individuals with mental illness.

  • Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff, prioritizing urgent issues
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
  • Assist with the coordination of larger maintenance projects, including renovations and upgrades
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance issues

Essential tools and uniforms are provided. Property Maintenance Technician must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. as well as stoop, bend, and stand.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in building maintenance or related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance techniques and procedures
  • Basic proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate and respectful attitude towards individuals living with mental illness
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation


Annual Flu vaccination is also required.

Salary: $23.00 per hour
