Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and driven Product Developer to join our Research and Development team. This role is essential for driving new product innovations and improvements in our houseware line. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a passion for product development.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to develop new houseware products and enhance existing ones.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and consumer needs.
  • Generate and test new product ideas and concepts.
  • Develop detailed product specifications and prototypes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to ensure seamless product development.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle from ideation through to production.
  • Conduct product testing and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in materials, manufacturing processes, and industry innovations.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports and product proposals to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in product development, preferably within the houseware industry.
  • Strong understanding of R&D methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in sustainable product development and eco-friendly materials.
  • Knowledge of consumer behavior and market trends in the houseware sector.
  • Previous experience in a research and development role within the houseware industry.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus opportunities
