Orthotic and Prosthetic Lab Inc. has been in business for over 35 years and specializes in the custom fabrication of braces and prosthetic limbs. We are privately owned and currently have four locations in the Saint Louis Metropolitan area. This position will be located at our Webster Groves Office. *This is NOT a remote position.

The Medical Biller position will entail a large volume of Insurance follow up. This includes review and reconciliation of EOBs to ensure claims are processed and paid correctly. Duties also include mailing paper claims and submission of electronic claims, and submission of Reconsiderations and Appeals as warranted. In addition, working monthly aging reports and handling incoming billing calls from outer offices and patients. Various miscellaneous billing tasks may be included.

This position requires multi-tasking and close attention to detail and previous healthcare billing experience. In addition, a knowledge of the various Insurance plans and their carrier specific requirements and guidelines, including supporting documentation, etc. and familiarity with ICD-10 and HCPCS coding and modifiers are helpful. 

Wage compensation will be aligned with work experience.

Job Type: Full-time
