Job DescriptionJob Description

Busy manufacturer in Santa Fe Springs, CA is currently hiring for a Plastics Fabricator. This is a full time, long term position. 

Responsibilities:

  • Read drawings and create cut lists.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of fabricated items.
  • Cut, fit, and hot air weld thermoplastic materials (Polypropylene, PVC, CPVC, PVDF, and HDPE) to fabricate tanks, fume hoods, cabinets, and pans.
  • Opportunity for advancement to Department Lead.

Qualifications:

  • Hot air welding of thermoplastics (Polypropylene, PVC, CPVC, PVDF, and HDPE) is a plus.
  • Ability to read, layout, and fabricate from blueprints and schematics.
  • Familiarity with thermoplastic piping systems (butt-fusion, socket fusion, solvent joining).
  • Proficiency with shop tools and equipment (e.g., drill press, table saws, band saws, routers).
  • Positive attitude, professional work ethic, and teamwork skills.
  • Effective communication with managers, field personnel, customers, and employees.
  • Department Lead experience preferred (management of personnel, tools, material, and production).

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Pay Range: $20/hr - $30/hr
