Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication and Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves working with metal and plastic materials, welding, and plumbing to build and assemble projects from scratch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, assembly, and electrical wiring, and will be adept at reading technical drawings and schematics.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Metal and Plastic Welding: Perform welding tasks using various techniques to join metal and plastic components.
  • Assembly: Assemble parts and systems according to technical specifications and blueprints.
  • Plumbing: Execute plumbing tasks as needed, ensuring all installations and repairs meet safety and quality standards.
  • Electrical Wiring: Wire up components and systems according to schematics, ensuring correct and safe electrical connections.
  • Project Management: Build projects from the ground up within a 4-7 month timeframe, accounting for potential delays in parts.
  • Technical Reading: Interpret and work from technical drawings, prints, and material specifications to guide the fabrication and assembly process.
  • Qualifications:Experience: Proven experience in metal and plastic welding, assembly, and plumbing.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Electrical Background: Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems, including the ability to wire up components as per schematics.
  • Educational Background: Completion of welding programs from recognized institutions such as Universal Technical Institute or CQO is preferred but not required.
  • Certifications: Welding certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
