MMC Group is hiring for 21 Special Education Teachers for schools in the Colorado Springs School District

 

Contract: Aug 8th - May 25th
Shift: M-F 7AM-4PM
Pay: $29-32/hr DOE

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement a program of study that meets the individual needs, abilities, and interests of all students within the class
  • Promote emotional and social growth for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects, and the like, and clearly communicate these objectives to students
  • Establish and maintain cooperative relations with other teachers and students

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of special education experience
  • Bachelor's degree in education or related discipline
  • CDE (Colorado Department of Education) Teacher license
  • Ability to use sign language highly desired
