Jutland Truck Bodies is looking for an experienced Aluminum Fabricator to join our growing team. You will be working with various machines to cut, punch, bend and weld aluminum. Our dedication to exceeding our customers' expectations is a primary factor in driving the robust growth our company has experienced. Our Aluminum Fabricator will…

  • Operate a variety of equipment (MIG welder, brake press, shear, punch, saw) to create parts to order for custom service bodies
  • Work to a standard from a shop order and basic drawings to fabricate custom service bodies
  • Work with others to solve problems unique to particular requests
  • Fabricate, fit and weld to a high quality standard
  • Operate a forklift
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Work 40-50 hours depending on the work load. The majority of those hours would be from Monday – Friday between 6:00 am and 4:30 pm

Our Ideal Metal Fabricator…

  • Experienced: Must have High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years previous experience in aluminum fabrication and welding. Competency in aluminum MIG welding and understanding how to fabricate parts is required.
  • Adaptable: Able to work with minimum instruction on custom truck bodies made to a customer order.
  • Detail-Oriented: Understands how to apply standards to custom products and is conscientious of how different actions are going to affect the finish of our mostly unpainted products.
  • Persistent/Tenacious: Able to lift up to 50 pounds, stay on one’s feet for prolonged periods of time, and easily maneuver around facilities and machinery by walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and balancing.
  • Team Player: Humble enough to admit mistakes. Drive to do a great job. Treats others with care and respect.
  • Dependable: Comes to work on time. Steady approach to work. Desire to contribute as part of a team.
