At Vital Heart & Vein, we create exceptional experiences for our patients as well as our employees We are hiring an experienced Billing Specialist to join our team full-time. As a Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate coding and billing for our cardiovascular services.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing is required.

· Proficient knowledge of CPT and ICD10 coding systems.

· Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in coding and documentation.

· Ability to efficiently multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Familiarity with eClinical Works software is advantageous.

 

Responsibilities:

· Utilize knowledge of CPT and ICD10 coding to accurately assign diagnosis and procedure codes for services rendered.

· Review claims for appropriate modifiers before their submission to insurance companies.

· Retrieve all necessary information from hospital face sheets to establish new patient accounts.

· Enter and update patient demographics and insurance information with precision and attention to detail.

· Maintain a high level of accuracy and organization while multitasking various billing-related duties.

· Utilize eClinical Works software (experience is a plus) to streamline billing processes and maintain electronic records.

Please note that this full-time position requires in-person work at our location in Humble, TX.
