Automation Engineer

We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our client, an innovative automation and process improvement company. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of novel systems and industrial systems control solutions for a variety of industries - from food and beverage to specialty chemicals and more.

What you will do:

  • Create and improve automated systems and processes
  • Support the installation of both mechanical and controls upgrades
  • Research and implement new machinery and controls 
  • Work with cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams to craft novel automation solutions for diverse client base
  • Document all technical procedures and user guides

Your background, knowledge and experience:

  • 3+ years experience developing and implementing Control Automation Systems
  • Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and reporting systems
  • Familiarity with intelligent and industrial systems
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to interact with clients and coworkers of differing technical knowledge
