Compensation: $60-65k
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains timely and accurate analysis of general ledgers and subsidiary ledgers;
- Assists with the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and month-end closing;
- Maintains bank reconciliation and fixed assets reconciliation;
- Consolidates subsidiary company monthly financial statements, and maintains all subsidiary companies’ detail books;
- Maintains and coordinates monthly general ledger accounts reconciliations;
- Maintains system financial reporting and parameter changes;
- Acts as back-up for cash management: wire transfers, stop payments, coordinates with the bank staff, and analyzes cash balance and investment fund;
- Assists in audit preparation;
- Assists Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager/Controller as necessary;
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 +years related work experience;
- Extensive knowledge of dual-entry accounting and general ledger maintenance
SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation and counseling skills
- Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
- Good problem solving and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
