Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Lead to join our team. The CNC Lead will report directly to the CNC Department Manager and will play a crucial role in programming, setting up machines and ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet industry standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining, CNC programming, leadership skills, and a commitment to upholding our quality standards.

We are seeking 1 qualified candidate available to work on the following days and times:

·         1st Shift:  Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Develop CNC programs using CAM software based on engineering drawings and specifications.

·         Set up CNC machines, including loading materials, installing tooling, and calibrating settings.

·         Operate CNC machines to execute machining operations with precision and efficiency.

·         Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to ensure quality and productivity.

·         Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to keep them in optimal working condition.

·         Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and resolve any issues that arise.

·         Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

·         Stay current in technological advancements and embrace growth opportunities.

·         Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.

·         Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software.

·         Must have knowledge of Mastercam/SolidWorks.

·         Ability to lift heavy objects.

·         Ability to work after-hours when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·         Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

·         Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam) for programming CNC machines.

·         Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, including milling, turning, and drilling.

·         Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems and standards.

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·         Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

·         Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

·         High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in machining or related field.

·         Must have 3+ years of machining experience.

·         Must have 5+ years of programming experience.

·         Extensive experience with computer modeling software.

BENEFITS

·         Medical and Dental Insurance:  You will be eligible to participate in the company’s medical and dental insurance plans after a 30-day waiting period, in accordance with the company plan.

·         Paid Vacation:  You will accrue 40 hours of paid vacation annually, which will be available for use after 90 days of full-time employment, as per the employee handbook.

·         Sick Time:  You will receive 16 hours of sick time annually, available for use after 90 days of employment, in accordance with the employee handbook.

·         Paid Holidays:  Paid holidays are provided as per our company policy.
