Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the CEO and board for informed decision-making.
2. Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Present financial results and analysis to the executive team and stakeholders.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to establish financial goals.
- Provide regular financial forecasts, identifying opportunities and risks to achieve business objectives.
4. Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow effectively, optimizing working capital and ensuring liquidity for operational needs.
- Implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and enhance financial stability.
5. Financial Controls and Compliance:
- Establish and enforce robust financial controls and policies to ensure industry standards and regulations compliance.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.
6. Investment and Capital Management:
- Evaluate investment opportunities and potential partnerships, providing financial insights for strategic decision-making.
- Optimize capital structure and oversee fundraising initiatives.
7. Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop finance professionals to enhance their skills and capabilities.
8. Strategic Financial Advisory:
- Collaborate with the executive team in developing and executing business strategies, offering financial perspectives to drive growth and profitability.
- Assess the financial impact of business initiatives and recommend adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial leadership role within a technology-driven company.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to provide data-driven insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
