Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new commercial and industrial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales and rentals. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business.

·         Meet or exceed sales, profit, and marking plans of assigned territory.

·         Sell direct to selected markets and account to help drive business, expand market presence and increase sales.  

·         Effectively demonstrate product line.

·         Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.

·         Prospect and contact potential customers.

·         Reach agreed upon sales targets by set deadlines.

·         Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.

·         Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments.

·         Establish strong business relationships with our manufacturers, managers, sales reps, and other parties that result in increased                      business.

·         Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies.

·         Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills.

·         Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet and/or exceed goals

·          Create sales material to present to customers

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Sales Force or related software.

·         Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

·         Frequently move objects up to 25 pounds when needed.

·         Must be able to detect hazardous fumes.

·         Must have and maintain a clean driving record.

 

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

·         Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

·         3+years’ experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success.

·         Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales or related field.

·         Two years’ experience in a related field preferred but not required.

·         Experience towing a trailer preferred but not required .
