Xylem is looking for a Water Treatment Technician to report to our Waynesboro, GA location to service and operate our water and wastewater treatment equipment.

 

What your day will look like as a Water Treatment Technician

The Water Treatment Technician will be responsible for the on-site operation, service, and maintenance of our water and wastewater treatment equipment. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous experience working with complex water treatment systems is required.  Experience working in and industrial wastewater environment is preferred.

This position operates on a standard Monday-Friday day shift, and has an on-call requirement 24/7 unless otherwise discussed. Occasional weekend work will be required for emergencies.

Position Requirements for Water Treatment Technicians

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
  • Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
  • Ability to self-lead under minimal supervision  
  • Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR check
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
