We are seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team

We are currently hiring full time and part time therapists to work in Anchorage, Eagle River, Palmer, and Wasilla, AK. Please respond to this post if you are interested in working in any of these locations.

Our clinic provides therapy services primarily in patients homes and the community. We often work with clients at parks, trailheads, lakes, rock gyms, bowling alleys, or on the slopes. This allows for greater creativity, improved understanding of the client's specific needs, enhanced carryover of HEP and education, and improved outcomes for our clientele. We encourage outings and exploration of outdoor recreation as a main focus of therapy, and our clinic will provide the necessary means to realize your own creative approach to treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling patients and building your schedule to meet your needs.
  • Documentation including evaluations, progress notes, daily notes in SOAP format, including administering standardized assessments, and adherence to federal/private payer regulations.
  • Communication with patients/caregivers, doctors, and allied health professionals, to ensure our patients get the best possible care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech and Language Pathology Program
  • Experience in treating pediatric clients is preferred
  • Preference given to those with an active AK state OT license
  • New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply; we welcome clinical fellowships.

Compensation/benefits: $75-85 per treatment hour

  • 25 treatment hours per week
