Job DescriptionJob Description

We are currently seeking Pipefitters in the Spring Hope, NC area for the night shift. This is a contract to hire opportunity working 50-60 hrs/wk. No travel involved, working indoors, set schedule and home every morning after your shift. You’ll be working with a stable, reputable company whose goal is to bring you on as a full-time employee for the long-term.

Job Duties

Perform Pipe/Structural Fitting in a Fabrication/Shop Environment

Fitting the following: Steel, Stainless, Aluminum, and various other materials

Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols, lay out reference points and patterns

Schedule

M-F – 6 PM – 6 AM

Weekends as needed

Qualifications

3-5 years of previous experience in fitting Pipe - Carbon/Stainless from 6” up to 36”, preferably in a fabrication shop.

Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.

Measure and cut pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and cutting disc.

Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications and instructions.

Maintains a clean and safe working area at all times.

**Must pass a written fitter test **

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

**Must be able to commute to the Hope Spring, NC area on a nightly basis**

Compensation

Up to $38/hr. based on experience
