We are seeking a skilled and motivated Part-Time Prep Cook to assist with ingredient preparation and support the executive chef. The ideal candidate will have strong knife skills, a solid understanding of various ingredients, and the ability to work independently while following recipes accurately. The candidate should also maintain a clean and organized work environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and restaurant standards

- Clean and chop vegetables, fruits, and other food items

- Measure and mix ingredients as directed

- Ensure all food items are properly stored and labeled

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Assist the executive chef with additional tasks as needed

- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

 

Qualifications:

- Strong knife skills and experience in ingredient preparation

- Ability to recognize and properly handle various ingredients

- Ability to work independently and efficiently

- Experience following recipes and maintaining consistency

- Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred but not required

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Clean and organized working habits

 

Schedule:

- Part-time hours, with flexibility for morning, afternoon, or evening shifts

- Availability on weekends is a plus
