Our mission is to integrate cutting-edge digital strategies internally, enhancing the firm's dynamic marketing approach.

Job Description:  The role requires a deep understanding of WordPress, Theme Builders (i.e. Beaver Builder), WP Engine, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. You will focus on website development, mobile responsiveness, site maintenance, health, speed, security, and user experience, ensuring our site(s) remains at the forefront of technological advancements. SEO is a top priority, and you will be expected to utilize onsite/technical SEO best practices as well as work with our SEO specialist to ensure the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

●     Develop & maintain WordPress themes, based on design mockups and specifications.

●     Add regular content updates to both pages and blog.

●     Maintain backups and a routine maintenance plan.

●     Maintain and modify WordPress plugins to extend functionality and meet project requirements.

●     Integrate website functionalities with third-party tools like Salesforce, including building and managing custom APIs.

●     Implement caching mechanisms and other performance-enhancing techniques.

●     Optimize WordPress websites for performance, security, and scalability.

●     Manage website’s chat functions and form integrations for seamless CRM integration, especially with Salesforce (Litify).

●     Collaborate with the marketing manager, SEO specialist, and other employees to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

●     Implement best practices for Google indexability and crawlability.

●     Troubleshoot and resolve technical SEO issues affecting website performance in search engine results.

Qualificiations:

●     Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Proven Past Experience with Project Portfolio.

●     Minimum 5-7 years of experience in WordPress development.

●     Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.

●     Proficiency in Website Builders (i.e. Beaver Builder) and WP Engine Hosting Manager.

●     Robust understanding of WordPress architecture, best practices, and coding standards.

●     In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, including on-page and off-page optimization.

●     Expertise in Google indexability, search console, and resolving technical SEO issues.

●     Proficiency in custom plugin development, and custom theme development.

●     Experience with responsive design techniques and frameworks.

●     Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

●     Knowledge of digital marketing and web analytics tools.

●     Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles.

Work Environment:

●     This is an in-house position requiring collaboration with our full in-house marketing department.
